Municipal House Restaurant

Welcome to one of the most beautiful Art Nouveau restaurants in the world, opened in 1912, whose history is closely linked to the history of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic. It was here, in Prague's Municipal House, that the Act on the Establishment of the Independent Czechoslovak State was passed in 1918.
The restaurant, like the entire Municipal House, is the work of Czech architects, craftsmen, and artists who imbued the place with its unique character and the beauty of the Art Nouveau era. Since the days of the First Republic, it has been renowned for its excellent cuisine and superb service. We continue the tradition of famous Prague restaurateurs today – with respect for history, honest craftsmanship, and an emphasis on quality.
